Easy dinosaur coloring pages

Twelve dinosaur pages with thick, simple outlines that small hands can color inside: a T. rex, a triceratops, a stegosaurus, a brachiosaurus, a velociraptor, a pterodactyl, an ankylosaurus, a dinosaur with a sail on its back, a baby T. rex, a baby dinosaur hatching from its egg, a spotted dinosaur egg and a volcano. There is one big picture per page, with its name at the top for children who are learning to read. The pictures are drawn by us, not with AI. No email needed.

Every dinosaur coloring sheet in the set

All the pictures in the PDF, one by one. Each one is a full page in the download.

T. rex and triceratops coloring pages

The set starts with the two dinosaurs children ask for most: a T. rex standing on its big back legs with its small arms, and a triceratops with three horns and a wide frill. Older children can add teeth, claws and spots of their own.

For toddlers and preschool

Two and three year olds do best with big shapes and few details, so every dinosaur here is one big shape with only a few parts to color: the plates on the stegosaurus, the wings of the pterodactyl, the shell of the egg. Give them chunky crayons and tape the page to the table so it does not slide.

Ideas for using them

Color a page before a dinosaur book at bedtime, or set a stack out at a dinosaur birthday party with a jar of crayons. In class, let children vote for their favorite dinosaur and hang the pages in a row from smallest to biggest. These pages have no holiday on them, so they work any week of the year.

30 dinosaur coloring pages in one PDF

The coloring book has 30 dinosaur pages in the same thick, easy style: the 12 pages above plus a parasaurolophus, a roaring T. rex, a triceratops face, eggs in a nest, a footprint, a bone, a skull, a fossil shell, a dinosaur dig and more. One big picture per page with its name at the top, for ages 2 to 6.
